I wanted to explore monochromatic purples with a little bit of contrasting yellow. I have a love-hate relationship with blending paint; especially with acrylics because of how quickly they dry.<\/p>\n<p>This painting reminds me that no one is perfect (for this reason, I did not paint a perfect circle), and the changes we go through mentally, physically, and emotionally throughout our lives.<\/p>\n<p>I get caught up a lot in thinking that where I am today is where I will be for the rest of my life when the truth is\u00a0that circumstances and perspectives can change in an instant.<\/p>\n<p>The formation of something new is on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p><em>Formation<\/em>\u00a0is a 100% hand-painted original acrylic abstract painting on high-quality gallery wrapped cotton canvas. All four sides of the canvas are painted as a continuation of the painting and it comes ready-to-hang for a frameless display.<\/p>\n<p>The canvas is stretched over sturdy pine stretcher bars and hand-splined on the back to minimize the number of staples.
